I am writing to express my appreciation to the Rwandan Rugby side, the Silverbacks. During their Hong Kong tour, your newspaper constantly updated us on their progress in the Hong Kong 10s, where they eventually finished third, out of 22 countries.

Rwanda has registered sporting achievements but the latest triumph by the Silverbacks is something to celebrate, given that that rugby in Rwanda is relatively a new sport.

Representing a country in a tournament that brings together over 20 countries is a responsibility that should be taken seriously. The Silverbacks took this responsibility and held high Rwanda’s flag.

I would like to thank the players who achieved this feat and request sponsers to help develop sports in the country .
