Rwanda’s technology development is growing at an impressive rate and this will enable the country achieve its goals, a diplomat at a Russian Embassy has said.
Dr Mikhail D. Nikitin, the Deputy Head of mission, said the current development in infrastructure is a clear indicator that Rwanda will realise its dream of becoming the region’s ICT hub.

Nikitin was speaking at an exhibition of space rockets in Kigali.

The exhibition was organized ahead of Russia’s 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s first manned journey into space.

The anniversary is celebrated on April 12.
"The reason we are doing this exhibition here, is to show Rwandans that with determination, everything is possible, and I am very optimistic that Rwanda will enjoy the benefits of the technology basing on the current development we see in the country,” Nikitin underscored.

He, however, called for more extensive research, adding that with technology, one need to remain innovative at all times.
