Motorcyclists attached to the Association of Motorcyclists in Rwanda (FERWACOTAMO) started wearing jackets labeled with TIGO Rwanda logo after the two parties entered into a joint partnership.

The partnership follows the expiration of a one year contact between the taxi-moto association and Rwandatel.

The deal allows TIGO to provide new free branded Jackets to about 10,000 taxi motorcyclists subscribed to the federation.

As part of the deal, motorcyclists will be allowed to sell e-GO airtime.  E-Go is the electronic system of selling airtime.

"You have 10,000 motorcyclists in Rwanda and they will be wearing TIGO logo,” TIGo’s, Marketing Manager, Nina- Claudia Ndabaneze, said.

She added that the partnership will provide a new revenue stream for the taxi-motos which in turn will boost their daily revenues.
