THE national U-17 team is expected to jet out of the country for an intensive training camp in on April 9, according to head coach Richard Tardy.

The France-born coach told Times Sport yesterday that the team will spend close to 20 days training in the French capital, Paris.

And while in Paris, Tardy hopes to that he will be able to convince some of Ligue 1’s leading sides, among them PSG, Lyon and Auxerre to have their youth teams offer his Olympic ticket chasing youth side.

"We will be camping in South of Paris because it is conducive for our preparation. In Paris, we will be able to secure friendly matches easily and get accesses to modern training facility,” said Tardy.

The team will return home at the end of the month before going to USA for another training camp a week later and they will arrive in Mexico on June 6, few days before the start of the World Cup finals.
