With his first win in the 2012 African Nations Cup qualifying campaign under the belt, Sellas Tetteh will be hoping to make it two wins as many weekends when he takes charge of the U-23 side in their return leg against Zambia in the 2012 Olympic qualifiers this Sunday at Amahoro stadium.

The return leg fixture, initially been scheduled to be played in the weekend of April 8-10 has been brought forward because Rwandans, during that period will be commemorating the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

The team returned back on Monday and went straight into residential camp to continue with preparations as they look to try and overturn a 2-0 deficit from the first leg.

Amavubi Stars coach Tetteh, the also doubles the U-23 head coach, will assume the responsibility of managing the team.
 
He takes over from his assist Eric Nshimiyimana, who was in-charge of the team in Laska over the weekend.

The Ghanaian missed the first leg, and despite the defeat, he won’t have any regrets as he enjoyed a convincing 3-1 home triumph over neighbors Burundi with the senior teams in Group H Africa Nations’ Cup qualifier.
Following the loss in Lusaka, Rwanda needs a 3-0 goal margin to proceed to the next round.

Rwanda and 24 other countries began their campaign at the second round. The seven winners from the first round advanced to this group. The 16 winners from the second round will be drawn into four groups of four.

The best three winners in each group qualify for the Olympic Games while the fourth will go for a play-off with an Asia Football Confederation team for a final slot for the London Games.
