Why swallow the shame for the fame?

What if a music promoter demanded sex to support your dreams of becoming an international artist? What if you had to sleep with someone, to get the money necessary for shooting your music video? For any upcoming artist, it is difficult to shine without tangible support. That explains why a number of talented artists spend a lifetime in studios without ever tasting the fame.

The pressure for sex in return for fame has become more or less the definition of today’s entertainment industry.

Some music producers prefer sex to any sums of money, as a pre-request for recording good songs for attractive youth.

This reminds me of the short lived relationship between local producer Lick lick and rapper Paccy. The two later separated.

Even after becoming successful many still need to sacrifice descent dress code and innocence to pull more crowds.

Even some lowly karaoke entertainers in town opt to perform in revealing attire for a better pay.

Enticing scenes have also worked for the popularity of many music videos- no wonder even the great actress Angelina Jolie stripped naked to achieve her role in the movie "Wanted”.

But there is always an alternative path for the lady who wishes to grow into a superstar. The pre-request in this case is perfect talent and much patience.

For the prospective singers, an excellent voice markets the owner automatically. Stories of most successful stars’ include, attracting a certain promoter just because of their adorable vocals.

Karaoke performers too have alternative spots for performing, apart from where they must undress in public. In fact, ‘VIP’ podiums expect decency from entertainers.

There is always room for an artist who sticks to morality than quick money and fame. In fact, it is fate that most likely determines the unlikely success of underground talents.
