Olivier Costa drove his best race this year to cruise to victory during the one-day Rally de l’est over the weekend.

Costa completed the race in one hour, 34 minutes and 25 seconds to come ahead of Fitidis Christakis and Elefterios Mitraros, who finished second and third respectively. Christakis came seven minutes and 14 second behind Costa.

Genese Semana and Mayaka Felekani failed to finish the race while last year’s African losing finalist Davite Giancarlo didn’t participate in the race because his Subaru Impreza is being transported to South Africa ahead of next month’s Sasol Rally South Africa.
