Speaking to The Sunday Times at Nyagatare police post on Saturday morning, Gaspard Nshimiyimana, the deceased’s house-help, narrated the ordeal.
"We were seated in the house after supper but the door was not properly closed. She was assigning me some work to do in the morning,” he said.
"I was just wishing her a good night when a black man- dressed in a long coat with a machete pushed the door. Five more men entered and started tying her neck with plastic robes. They covered my mouth with a cloth and ordered me to stand against the wall. They looked around the house and left immediately,” he said.
When Nshimiyimana rushed towards his boss, he found her already dead.
"I ran outside and screamed for help after discovering that she was already dead. Neighbours woke up and Police arrived immediately,” he said.
