WOMEN Volleyball champions Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) have intensified their preparations for the forthcoming African club volleyball championship slated for March 28-7 April in Kenya.
The tax body side earned the rights to represent the country after winning last year’s league title.
After only three years since their formation, RRA shattered the dominance of APR by winning their first league trophy under the stewardship of former APR (men) coach Jean Luc Ndayikengurukiye.
"We will be training twice a week to increase the players’ fitness levels,” Ndayikengurukiye said yesterday.
RRA is holding their training at Ecole Belge and it is likely that Ndayikengurukiye will stick with the same squad that he used last year.
The National University of Rwanda (NUR), the men’s national champions, will represent Rwanda in the African club championship slated for next month in Morocco.
