The hard tackling Rayon Sport centre-back told Times Sport yesterday before departure that the team is on confidence going into the first leg tie in Lusaka.
"We had enough training sessions together with the coaches, and am quite positive that this team is in the right position physically and mentally to win in Zambia,” he noted.
Eric Nshimiyimana’s team leaves for Zambia on Friday morning aboard Kenya Airways. They are expected in Lusaka in the afternoon.
Rwanda and other 24 other countries begin their campaign at the second round. The seven winners from the first round advanced to this group. The 16 winners from the second round will be drawn into four groups of four.
