"Football is still one of the most loved games in Rwanda. Therefore it would be wrong to say it is losing popularity. It is the fans to inspire their teams or players in order for the game to become interesting.”

Aimable Bayingana, President of the National Cycling Federation (Ferwacy)

"There is no doubt that a lot needs to be done for football in this country to gain momentum just like in the past. Otherwise fans are losing hope that is why the turn-up during matches is very low except when teams playing are from other countries.”

Angelic Mutabaruka, Flash F.M Reporter.
