It’s almost four years since Rwanda joined the East African Community. However, I feel that there is not enough information on the progress of the integration.

Integration processes can only be faster and worthwhile if the citizens are constantly kept up to date.

With a ministry of EAC affairs and up to 9 representatives in the legislative assembly, we should  have  constant updates through talk shows on radio, TV, and even columns and expert opinions from the legislators themselves or other people involved with the process.

Important to note is that the intergration process involves various protocols that benefit or affect everyday lives of the people. That said, let’s upgrade the flow of communication regarding the EAC integration.
