RWANDA’s U-23 national team is ready to play Zambia in the 2012 London Olympic Games qualifiers. The sides are expected to face-off this Sunday in the first of two preliminary round legs in Lusaka.

The U-23 coach Eric Nshimiyimana insists that the youngsters have enough grit to get a result away from home.

"We have the enough firepower to win Sunday’s game. The team is in good shape and the confidence in the dressing room is encouraging,” the APR assistant coach said.

A good result in Lusaka will lessen the team’s task in the return leg. The team departs for Zambia tonight aboard Kenya airways.

Zambia have summoned Switzerland-based striker Fwayo Tembo to beef up the striking line.

In the build up to Sunday’s game, the Zambian U-23 side has played two warm-up games.

The first one was a goalless draw against Green Buffaloes while the second one was 1-0 win Nkhwazi.
