The Ministry of Information, on Monday, held a news conference, where it announced renewed  commitment to ensure efficient flow of information from the government to the public.

This is a commendable step as it will ensure transparency and accountability. I hope the "holders” of the information hear this message loud and clear. 

With such a directive, the media, too, will stand to benefit, since they are now in position to easily access information.
