"We’re going to rock the night. My first song will be Waka Waka, and I need the entire crowd to have fun,” Amar said.
"Music connects people together and it doesn’t matter which language you are singing in. It is the best way to bring people together and understand each other is through music,” he added.
He has performed in America, Indonesia and in various African countries, such as, Mozambique, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Congo.
The concert is organised by MAS Entertainment Ltd and will be held at the Petit Stade (outdoor), starting from 7 p.m to 11:30 p.m.
Local artists, Mako Nikoshwa, Jack B, Jay Polly, Dje Dje, Jean Pierre Runyurana, Holy Jay Doves and Natty Dread will perform alongside the Indian guest artists.
Entrance fee is Rwf3,000 (ordinary section), Rwf5,000 (middle section) and Rwf10,000 (VIP section).
Addressing journalists yesterday, Irshad Mundockil, an official from MAS Entertainment, said the purpose of the concert was to enhance relations between Indian and Rwanda through music.
"We’re all ready to entertain Rwandans,” reggae star, Natty Dread said.
