RWANDAN model, Nadège Uwamahoro, was, this week, handed the responsibility of managing the contestants of Rwanda Chapter Miss and Mr. East African University beauty pageant.

Rwanda is a new entrant in the Miss and Mr. East Africa University beauty pageant.

The 21-year-old model and owner of Nana Events told The New Times that, the committee organising the local beauty competition, asked her to manager the contestants.

"I am managing the contestants to help them get prepared for the competition,” Uwamahoro said.
"Among my responsibilities include teaching them the catwalk, discipline and how to handle themselves on stage.

I will also take them to the saloon on Saturday to get ready for the grand finale at Kigali Seran Hotel,” she added.

The eventual winners (three young men and three young women) will proceed to the regional contest due in May in Dar-es-Salam, where they will compete with other finalists from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Burundi.

And, the winners of the regional contest will then battle it out with other finalists from other parts of the world for the finals in Mexico, later this year.
