Biruta attends Bozize’s Swearing-in ceremony

Bangui - Senate president, Vincent Biruta, Tuesday attended the swearing-in ceremony of President Francois Bozize of the Central African Republic.Biruta attended on behalf of President Paul Kagame.According to a parliamentary communiqué, President Bozize highlighted the achievements in his previous term of office and revealed his focus for the next five years.

Bangui - Senate president, Vincent Biruta, Tuesday attended the swearing-in ceremony of President Francois Bozize of the Central African Republic.
Biruta attended on behalf of President Paul Kagame.

According to a parliamentary communiqué, President Bozize highlighted the achievements in his previous term of office and revealed his focus for the next five years.

After the swearing in ceremony, Biruta took the opportunity to deliver President Kagame’s message to his Central African counterpart.
"President Bozize cheerfully received the congratulatory message and thanked Rwanda for attending the ceremony,” reads the statement in part.
Bozize was re-elected on February 23 this year after winning the polls by 64 percent.

Meanwhile, while in the Central African republic,, Biruta met with Rwandans living in the capital, Bangui whom he briefed on the developments in their country.

He was accompanied by Rwanda’s Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Amandin Rugira a,d Hon. Musabyemungu Anne Marie, a Member of Parliament.
