Editor,

This letter is with reference to your article entitled "Tourism College granted IATA examination centre status.” I would like  to congratulate Madam Zulphat Mukarubega , the Founder and Legal Representative, Rwanda Tourism University College (RTUC ), Tembue Zembele, acting Rector and the entire RTUC team for this great achievement.

The IATA course is the world’s most sought after and it is a matter of pride that RTUC has been granted examination status by the world’s governing body in the field of travel and tourism.

Tourism is one of Rwanda’s leading foreign exchange earners and now that students can take this important examination in the country, we can expect many more of our young Rwandan students to go ahead and excel in this key segment of the Rwandan economy.

Wishing RTUC and Rwanda Tourism continued success in their quest for excellence.
