Editor,

This letter is with reference to your lead story in Saturday’s issue of The NewTimes entitled "Indian varsity to open campus here.”

Please allow me to congratulate Dr. Chenraj Jain ,the president and founder of the Bangalore -based Jain University and Jain Group of Institutions for this ambitious initiative and for choosing this great country , Rwanda for setting up a campus.

We must also appreciate the tremendous effort which has been put in by High Commissioner Williams Nukurunziza and his team at the Rwanda High Commission in New Delhi in making this dream a reality.

Rwanda has shown the world what it takes to rebuild a nation devastated by one of the worst genocides in the history of mankind and such  a great effort on the part of President Paul Kagame , his Government and also the people of Rwanda,  needs to be supported to the maximum extent possible.

Wishing Dr. Jain and his team every success in their new venture here , in the land of a thousand hills and of a million smiles !
