Take five Restaurant is located in the City centre, right opposite Nkurunziza Church. This new restaurant specializes in African Cuisine, ideal for people who’s been indulging in exotic food for a long time and now hungry for some good local food.

Here you come face to face with Rwandan and regional staple foods like igitotoke (plantains), ugali (corn flour-mash), Cassava root, Sweet potatoes and basically any other local dish you can think of.  The food here is rich and they have vegetarian options too, the buffet goes for Rwf2000 including a soft drink.

Take Five also have a variety of fresh fruit juices, Rwandan coffee and teas .Generally this is a great place for local food lover’s not ideal for exotic cuisine, (though they do pizzas and Burgers.)

If you are looking for great food, good service and warm ambiance in the middle of town, check out this place. Surprisingly this place is so calm and quiet; you can go by yourself, with a date or workmates.

Everything at this place from seating and décor screams Africa! Wooden hand made chairs and tables and flower pots, also the walls are covered in African arts.

You can sip your juice or coffee watching CNN on a mini flat screen or listening to a range of rare soulful African music in the background.
