The home has a total of two hundred children and have all gone back to school. When the government realized the good work Gahima was doing, it decided to build a dormitory, a modern laboratory, a gymnasium and a swimming pool at the children’s home.

The minister Gender and Family Promotion represented the government during the official launch of the children’s home.

"I am impressed to see all this development and the government promises more support,” the minister said.

"Thank you honourable minister,” Gahima said.

"However, the citizens and the government wish to know where and how you got that money,” the minister added.

"Dear Minister, I will answer any other question but what I will never tell you is where and how I got that money. Never ask me that question again. That is a forbidden question,” Gahima said.

Mukantabana and her son still live in Nyarutarama and have many profitable businesses in Kigali. Gahima is the richest citizen in the country but nobody has ever known how he got his wealth.
