Editor, I wish to comment on a story that appeared in yesterday’s issues of The NewTimes titled “Saudi Prince inspired to invest in Rwanda”. I come from West Africa and I have lived and worked in Rwanda for the last seven years. During my stay here, I have had the chance to see the development strides Rwanda and her people have made, and I must say that this country is very conducive for all kinds og investors.
Editor,
I wish to comment on a story that appeared in yesterday’s issues of The NewTimes titled "Saudi Prince inspired to invest in Rwanda”.
I come from West Africa and I have lived and worked in Rwanda for the last seven years. During my stay here, I have had the chance to see the development strides Rwanda and her people have made, and I must say that this country is very conducive for all kinds og investors.
I base this on many factors, but the greatest thing that motivates investors is the role played by the government in putting in place a system that makes it easy to set up businesses.
The Rwanda Development Board-RDB, Rwanda Revenue Authority-RRA and the Private Sector Federation-PSF, do a good job of making it easy for business people to register their companies/business in one day.
The other factor that makes Rwanda an investment friendly country is the nature of the people. Rwandans are very accommodative.
