When it comes to the question of choosing your destiny, you ‘ll realize it’s one of the most important decisions we make in our lives and yet still one of the hardest or rather the one many take for granted.
As a student, I can comfortably point out that it begins from the completion of O’level studies which is where we have to make the first decision about which academic direction we want to go—through choosing what combination to study. Well, some people take long to realize that it’s the most important academic decision and that’s why they take it for granted and later on they face the consequences.
I am sure you’ve heard or seen scenarios where people have gone half way through A’level and feel the need to change courses. Some who climbed the bandwagon realize they were misled and because it’s too late to change, all they can do is struggle through the rest of their career lives.
The above decision becomes really important because the rest of the academic decisions that follow will be based on it. For example, if you choose to major in Economics and your dream is to develop your business knowledge then at university you will offer a prominent Business course; the rest applies to other subjects.
Now if you realize your choice is not in line with your dream then difficulties are inevitable. Bottom line is... ‘’WE’VE GOT TO CHOOSE WISELY’’.
Apart from academic decisions, there are so many other independent decisions we may make in life. We need not take them for granted however small they may appear. Finally ’’THINK LIKE A MAN OF ACTION AND ACT LIKE A MAN OF THOUGHT’’.
