Rwanda international Emmanuel Imanishimwe was one of the standout performers of the weekend in the CAF Confederation Cup as his side AS FAR Rabat put ASKO FC from Togo to the sword with a 5-1 mauling.

A host of Rwandan players including the likes of Hakim Sahabo were, however, absent from last weekend’s football action.

Imanishimwe was at his usual best at left-back and played all 90 minutes for AS FAR Rabat who came from behind to wallop ASKO FC 5-1 in Group C of the CAF Confederation Cup.

France

In the Ligue 1, Warren Kamazi was an unused substitute for Toulouse who lost 3-2 at home to Olympique Marseilles while, in the U19 division, Hakim Sahabo was rested by LOSC Lille in their 2-2 draw with AJ Auxerre.

Belgium

Central midfielder Samuel Gueulette was not involved in Raal La Louviere 0-0 draw with Dessel Sport in the Belgian third tier.

England

Noam Emeran is expected to feature for Manchester United U21 ahead of the Premier League 2 trip to Crystal Palace on Monday, February 20.

In the Swiss third tier, 19-year-old Espoir Niyo Nsanzineza, who is on loan from Rapperswil Jona, made his debut for YF Juventus in their 4-1 defeat to Young Boys
