Kayonza - Bank de Kigali (BK), yesterday, announced plans to open two more branches in the Eastern Province.
The bank’s Managing Director, James Gatera, revealed this while addressing clients in Kayonza District.

The bank met its Kayonza and Rwamagana clients to brainstorm how to improve its services.

"We’re expanding our wings to serve our clients better ...We already serve people in and around the Eastern province, and new branches will make it more convenient for them,” Gatera said.

He said the bank takes great pride in providing exceptional services to its clients.

Gatera added that the bank will soon attract people to buy shares for the first time.

"By buying shares, they will make profits and be part and parcel of its daily activities.”

Richard Safari, a farmer and trader, said that if the bank allowed land to be used to acquire loans, rural people would develop faster.

The Chairman of Kayonza district business community, William Gakuba, was full of praise for the bank.

"The bank knows its clients and provides personalized advice based on their unique needs,” he said.   

The meeting was attended by various government officials in the Province.
