Belgine Bizimana is a musician in a group of two male artistes called New Collaboration. He is amongst the few local artistes making efforts to ensure that Rwandan music goes beyond borders.Below he shares with you how he spends his weekend;

My weekend starts on Friday evening at around 5p.m. I get home to rest until 6:30p.m when I head to Horizon Gardens in town.I like the soft music there. I enjoy it for about two hours.

I also have a drink in the company of other people or friends whom I may find there.
On Saturday, I wake up at around 7a.m and go jogging for at least two hours. I then get back home to set up the day’s programme.

I have lunch at Bourbon Coffee in town where I always enjoy beef and chips with juice.If I am to spend it out of Kigali, I move to Jambo Beach at Lake Muhazi in Kibungo.

I love the place because the environment at the lake is just cool and attractive.
On Sunday, I go for prayers until 12p.m. I spend the rest of my time with my friends at home having fun and discussing various issues. I get to bed at around 10. That makes my weekend perfect.
