ISAE pulls out of second division

ISAE football club will not feature in the second division league this season after pulling out due to financial constraints. The Musanze based club did not turn up for league action in the last two matches and national football federation’s head of competitions Felix Nzeyimana has now confirmed that the club has been replaced by Unity FC.

ISAE football club will not feature in the second division league this season after pulling out due to financial constraints.

The Musanze based club did not turn up for league action in the last two matches and national football federation’s head of competitions Felix Nzeyimana has now confirmed that the club has been replaced by Unity FC.

"They (ISAE) are struggling financially and have been replaced by Unity FC,” Nzeyimana said.

20 clubs have registered for this year’s edition and they include Union, Esperance, United Stars, Rwamagana, Kirehe, Espoir, Sorwathe, National University of Rwanda (NUR), Zebra, Aspoir, Pepiniere, Interforce, Kicukiro’s Sec Academy, Intwari, Nyanza, Nyamata, Etoile de l’Est, Stella Maris, Unity FC and Kibuye.
