THE Rwanda Stock Exchange was more active today than yesterday; it recorded a total turnover of Rwf 57,297,500 from 337,700 BRALIRWA shares traded in 1 recorded transaction at Rwf 175 and 6 recorded transactions at Rwf 170.

At the end of the formal trading hours there were offers of 19,000 BRALIRWA shares at Rwf 170, also 10,000 BRALIRWA shares at Rwf 175 and 1,500,000 BRALIRWA shares at Rwf 180 and no bids. The BRALIRWA share price remained unchanged from the previous closing price of Rwf170.

KCB announced their final results recording 55.5% increase in pre-tax profits. The bank’s shares will trade cum dividend up to May 2011, as the Company announced interim and final dividends of KShs 1.25 per share.

There was no trading activity on the KCB and NMG counters. KCB and NMG shares remained unchanged; they closed at Rwf173 and Rwf1,200 per share, respectively.
