Senate approves new appointments

KIGALI - The Senate, yesterday approved several new appointments in senior government positions.Robert Masozera, the former Director General of Diaspora directorate in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the new Ambassador to Belgium. He will be based in Brussels, replacing Ambassador Gerard Ntwari, who moves to Senegal.

KIGALI - The Senate, yesterday approved several new appointments in senior government positions.

Robert Masozera, the former Director General of Diaspora directorate in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the new Ambassador to Belgium. He will be based in Brussels, replacing Ambassador Gerard Ntwari, who moves to Senegal.

The Senate also approved Ben Bahizi Kagarama as the new Commissioner General of Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) replacing Mary Baine who was appointed Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kagarama was serving in the same institution as Deputy Commissioner in charge of large tax payers before the new assignment.

Others approved include; Théophile Sindikubwabo Ruberangeyo as FARG Executive Secretary and Samuel Kanyemera as a Commissioner in the National Human Rights Commission.

Ramadhan Barengayabo was approved as Deputy Director General in the Gender Monitoring Office.
