RWANDA lived up to their billing as pre-tournament favourites by beating Seychelles to win the ICC Africa Division 3 T20 tournament in Accra, Ghana.

Having lost the toss, Rwanda were put in to bat and did a fairly good job after posting a competitive score of 125/4 in the allotted 20 overs.

Audifax Byiringiro and Andre Kayitera top scored with 31 and 29 respectively. In reply, Seychelles fell eight runs short after posting 117 for the loss of seven wickets.

Rwanda will now play against stronger opposition in the ICC Africa Division 2 tournament slated for April in South Africa.
