AMAVUBI head coach Sellas Tetteh has highlighted the importance of next month’s 2012 Africa
Nations Cup qualifier against Burundi.

After losing their opening qualifiers against Ivory Coast and Benin, Rwanda find themselves at
the bottom of Group H with zero points and Tetteh has stressed that a win against Burundi would
not only revive the country’s chances of qualifying but also raise the morale and confidence
in the dressing room.

"The mood in the dressing room is low and the best way to raise it is by winning our next
qualifier,” the Ghanaian said.

"We also need to get the home fans behind us but that can only happen if we put in a good
performance and that means a win,” the 54 year-old added.

Ivory Coast tops the group with six points, Benin are second with four points while Burundi are
third with one point.

Tetteh also confirmed to Times Sport that he would backtrack on his decision not to field
professionals.

"All you need to know now is that I will be calling up some professionals. Who I call is up to
me,” he added.

Amavubi had a dismal show in the 2011 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) after being knocked
out at the group stage. The Wasps lost all their group games against Angola (1-2), Senegal
(0-2) and Tunisia (1-3).

The tournament winds up this afternoon with a final between Angola and Tunisia.
