President Paul Kagame, early this week, gave a lecture at the Harvard Business School, where he spoke about the country’s development process and achievements.

Rwanda has had to overcome insurmountable challenges, to get to where it is today.  The fruits
of hard work and good leadership have presented opportunities, waiting to be exploited.

The World Bank has, for the last two years, named the top reformer, after putting in place
policies that have facilitated doing business.

Among the priorities, is the promotion of regional economic integration. This has added to the
opportunities for doing business.

Of course during the reconstruction and development process, there were huddles. However, the
collective participation of the Rwandan people in addition to innovative home grown solutions,
most of the challenges have been addressed.

Reflecting on the last 16 years, there is no doubt the country is on the right path. From a
totally devastated country, to prosperity, is proof that the future remains bright.

Take advantage of the existing opportunities - in the various sectors - to not only grow your
business but also be part of the development process.
