A source said: "When Gale gave birth, Joe’s eyes welled up. As soon as he was handed the baby, he was filled with excitement. He was over the moon and was saying I can’t believe it.”
"It’s an exciting time for me and my wife and we are really happy,” Joe said on his face book page. "I thank all of you for the love and prayers, my son Taye looks awesome….bless your hearts.”
The mother and baby are both absolutely fine and the couple is thrilled with the wonderful addition to their family life.
The 29-year-old singer turned model, married his Canadian lover, Gale, in 2009 and the couple lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
