Rwanda Stock Exchange Market report; Tuesday, February 22

After the public holiday, the trading resumed with a few transactions and lower volumes compared to last week. The trading session was still dominated by more offers than bids which have pushed the price of the most active counter to the lowest closing price since its listing on RSE.The total turnover from yesterday’s trading was Rwf 476,000 from 2,800 Bralirwa shares traded in two deals at Rwf 170. There was no activity on KCB and NMG counters.

After the public holiday, the trading resumed with a few transactions and lower volumes compared to last week. The trading session was still dominated by more offers than bids which have pushed the price of the most active counter to the lowest closing price since its listing on RSE.

The total turnover from yesterday’s trading was Rwf 476,000 from 2,800 Bralirwa shares traded in two deals at Rwf 170. There was no activity on KCB and NMG counters.

At the end of business, a total of 837,100 Bralirwa shares were on offer; 282,200 of the shares in seven lots at Rwf 189; 47,800 shares at Rwf 185; 7,100 shares at Rwf 190 and 500,000 at Rwf 191.

Bralirwa shares closed at Rwf 170, Rwf 15 lower than the previous closing.

KCB shares and NMG shares remained unchanged; they closed at Rwf 173 and Rwf 1,200, respectively.
