News that another senior commander of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR), a militia group operating in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), surrendered is a welcome development to all peace lovers.

Other FDLR members still holed up in DRC should follow Samuel Bisengimana’s example and give up because they are just fighting for an unjust cause. Nobody has ever won unjustified war.
