Carine Umutoni is a journalist and sports news Reporter for the national television (RTV). Umutoni says it is all about searching for news throughout the week, some thing she says keeps her in the field.

Below she shares with you how best she spends the weekend;
The weekend starts on Friday evening immediately after work at 5p.m. I get home and make plans of either visiting or preparing for visitors.

I then go for shopping either at Nyamirambo market or Simba super market. It is over the weekend that I also get the time to stay with both my husband our baby.
This means travelling to Kibuye where my husband stays. We work out the day’s plan. It usually starts with the favourite meal I prepare, it includes rice and meat.
After the meal, we go to any place of our choice or any interesting place at the time.

If I am not in Kibuye, I may travel to Butare to pay a visit to my parents and old friends. It is all fun whenever I am with my parents since they treat me like a child. I also love Kibuye because it is a cool place compared to others.
However, on Sunday, I love going to church and when I am in Kigali; I go to Zion Temple in Kicukiro.

It is also that time when I engage in some domestic work like putting the house in order.

Being that I have to go for work the next day, I have supper early and get to bed at around 10.
That makes my weekend perfect.
