KAMPALA - A delegation of 24 Belgian companies led by the Minister for Foreign Trade, Benoît Cerexhe, are scheduled to visit Rwanda, next week.
According to Ivo Goemans, the Belgian envoy in Kigali, the delegation will be in the country from February 17 – 19 to forge business partnerships and explore investment opportunities.
"They will meet with Rwanda Development Board, Private Sector Federation and the Belgian-Rwandan Business Club,” he said.
Goemans added that the delegation will also have "tailor made individual B2B (business to business) contacts with selected Rwandan counterparts.”
On February 18, the visitors are scheduled to organize a seminar on accessing financing for business.
Representatives from the government, the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the European Investment Bank and the Belgian-Luxemburg-ACP Chamber of Commerce are also expected to participate.
