Tennis youngster leaves for Nairobi

ONE of Rwanda’s tennis prospects Anatole Bizimana left for Nairobi yesterday to take part in the second leg of the Under-18 ITF Junior Circuit which starts tomorrow at Parklands Sports Club. Bizimana, who missed the first leg in Mombasa, will feature in the second and third legs which run from February 14-27.

ONE of Rwanda’s tennis prospects Anatole Bizimana left for Nairobi yesterday to take part in the second leg of the Under-18 ITF Junior Circuit which starts tomorrow at Parklands Sports Club.

Bizimana, who missed the first leg in Mombasa, will feature in the second and third legs which run from February 14-27.

The youngster received a wild card into the main draw and will contend with over 80 players from 30 countries.
Some of the high profile players in the tournament include South Africa’s Paul Dion, who is ranked 437, David Hudgetts of Britain (509), Sherif Abohabaga of Egypt (578), Tuki Jacobs of Namibia (620) and Christopher Heymon of Belgium (627) among others.
