From the day the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration introduced the online visa applications in 2006, people who wish to travel to Rwanda find it much easier than before.
I live in a country where Rwanda does not have an embassy, and before the introduction of online Visas, I used to travel to countries where Rwanda has embassies to process the Visa forms.
Today, I no longer need to travel and spend money. What I need to do now days is visit Immigration’s website and fill the Visa forms. After filling in the required forms, it took me a few days before I received a confirmation letter, which I used to travel to Rwanda.
The process was quick and transparent.
I am sure all people who wish to travel to Kigali must be very happy with the introducation of online visas.
