Through your paper, allow me to express my optimism about Rwanda’s basketball team participating in the Zone V Competition.

With the regional powerhouse, Egypt, missing in action, Rwanda should take advantage of its absence. For the last few years, Rwanda has been emerging runners-up with Egypt taking the top honors.

This time round, Rwanda should be able to annihilate the competing East African nations considering that the team boasts of quite experienced and skilled players.

It’s our time and our boys and girls deserve the best.We wish our teams the best of luck.
