Last week, I visited many parts of Kigali City and construction activities have already started in line the Kigali Master Plan that will see the expansion of the city in the next 50 years.

I have traveled in the region and looking at our Kigali Master Plan, there is not doubt that our city  is headed for greater things.

Some areas like Kiyovu, and Muhima in Nyarugenge District had remained the same for years and residents in the neighborhood had started complaining, that the area was no longer attractive.

As part of rebuilding of Rwanda, it’s the responsibility of the people to adopt the vision that will turn the country into an investiment hub.

I think if all goes as planned, Rwanda will become a regional center of transportation and economic vitality.

I am opportunistic that Kigali will eventuality become a leading urban center for Africa in the near future.
