You can’t afford to despise a job

Dear Editor,

It is gratifying to see Twizamure (association of orphans and women in Rwamagana District) which started as a simple group; engaging in garbage collection to setting up many small scale enterprises like a garbage recycling plant, growing into a fully fledged organisation.

The group aims at community working together to eliminate poverty through economic revolution, project formulation and management of small scale enterprises.

I am confident that this kind of training will help the members understand that working together with emphasis on specialisation is more beneficial than individuals struggling on their own.

This can also lead to overall development and enhancing unity and reconciliation in the country. I advise those who despise jobs without thinking about how a humble beginning can turn out to be a prosperous end to start now.
