Rwanda has further slumped five places in FIFA’s February world rankings.

Rwanda ranked 109th last month has fallen to 114th on the recent updated Fifa world football rankings, a week after a goalless draw against Burundi.

In the Cecafa region, Ethiopia is the best ranked side on 87th. Uganda is second in the 93rd position while Tanzania is third in the 101st spot.

Reigning Cecafa champions Sudan are ranked 107.

Other Cecafa members’ rankings include; are Kenya (117), Burundi (112), Eritrea (131), Djibouti (176) and Somalia (197) respectively.

Ghana is the top ranked African nation in 14th place following their third place finish at the just concluded African Cup of Nations. It is also Ghana’s best Fifa ranking. Cameroon is 17th while the CAN reigning champions Egypt stand in 29th place.

Nigeria is 45th after moving 26 places down.

There have been no changes at the top as Argentina, Brazil and Italy.
