Last weekend I was very bored and stressed so I decided to take a walk and surprisingly I found myself in town. I moved from one place to another without having a particular place to go, I headed for the shops which sell decorative items for homes and offices and I came across a few things that can lighten up the style and comfort in the office.

Some of the things that I came across in the shops that I visited and can be unique features in the offices are;

Table fountain

Forget about the fountain that has to be built in your compound and they cost millions of francs. This is a tiny little fountain of grapes and a bottle of wine. This fountain can be placed strategically on top of a cabinet or placed on the far end of your reception table. It was such a sight to behold. This piece of item can lighten up an office depending where one wants to put it. Forget about the usual decorative items. This piece is one that will leave many people wanting to come back to your office for more, because you would have created a unique sense of style in your office décor.

Assorted decorated balls

A large lotus bowl created a scene of its own when it was filled with different types and colours of balls. This bowl can be placed strategically at the coffee table in the boss’s office or also in the office reception area. These decorated balls can keep a bored client waiting to be served busy playing with them. To create a unique sense of style in the office, the bowl can as well be hanged using beautiful hanging ropes at the far corner of an office. Hanging the lotus bowl can make a stunning addition to any office and great for creating visual interest.
 
Buttoned picture frame

The buttoned frame left a smile on my face. Things we rarely have use for when a shirt or blouse gets old, can actually be used to beautify an old picture frame, an old clock or even beautify an old looking table. Buttons can be glued around a picture frame or a clock to make any picture frame or the clock unique. A table can also be spruced up by a mosaic of buttons on it. This craft project will even add more value and style to your office table.

This is a great idea more especially you are tired of the old looking tables in the office and cannot afford to buy new ones, because you can make them look great again by adding a touch of buttons on them.

Coffee mugs

Forget about the old coffee mugs in the office that have been there for ages and even lost the colour. Buy a cup that has either been dolled up or one that has some flowers drawn on it to give you a soothing feeling when you are taking your coffee on that Monday morning when things seem not to be going on well in the office.

Over the years, the corporate culture and lifestyle have gone through significant changes. The overall look of an office tends to speak volumes about the functioning of the organization and a lot of companies are investing good amount of money in decorating and furnishing their offices. Companies are investing in office decorative items to give their office space a character and convey what the company stands for in terms of business objectives, corporate responsibility and area of expertise.
