I am writing in reference to an article published in yesterday’s paper, titled "Experts commend Rwanda’s Community Health Systems”. I wish through your newspaper to commend the community health workers, through the Ministry of Health, for their rigorous efforts to ensure that Rwandans continue to live decent lives.

Through the use of Rapid SMS, the community members with health related complications are reached easily and on time. Access to drugs is crucial as it improves one’s life expectancy.

The Rapid SMS is free, making it an affordable service for each and everyone in the community. I therefore thank The Community Health workers for this noble innovation. I also urge all leaders at all levels to sensitize Rwandans so that they adopt this system since it’s working to benefit them.
