EMMANUEL Byiringiro has been named on the International Cricket Council (ICC) emerging panel of umpires.

The former national team star recently completed a high level umpiring course in South Africa where he emerged amongst the best.

He has now been rewarded by being named on the umpiring panel for next month’s ICC/ACA World Cricket League T20 in Accra, Ghana.

The tournament runs from 23-28 and Rwanda which is one of eight teams contending for the title is seeded top.
