Talk has been rife about the restructuring of the giant public transport service provider, Atraco.

An adhoc committee headed by Local Government Minister, James Musoni, came up with various recommendations on how Atraco should be restructured. It has since emerged that one of the key recommendations is that Atraco is transformed from a non profit association to a profit making cooperative.

This transition prompted The New Times to seek an exclusive interview with Atraco President, Ludovic  Dodo Twahirwa, on how the new Atraco will operate.
