The Seventh best pupil in the just released primary leaving results was surprised by her performance.
Credia Umuhire Ruzigana is also one of the four girls who were among the best twelve pupils countrywide.
"I could not believe my ears when they broke the news to me, I thought there was a mistake somewhere not until I saw it myself,” said the soft spoken Umuhire who completed at Kigali Parents School.
Umuhire, however, said that though she was not expecting to be among the top 12, she knew that she was going to excel because she had studied hard.
"I studied hard and followed my teachers’ advice,” said the 13- year old who wants to be a computer scientist in future.
She advised other pupils to always believe in God and themselves.
