Mugisha, who was speaking to The New Times yesterday, said he was a surprised when he learned of the results.
"I was a bit surprised, but all the same I had to thank God for this miracle because I had been praying for it,” said the 13-year old Kigali Parents School student.
"First of all it begins with God and focusing on the studies and concentrating on what you want to achieve,” he said.
Mugisha dreams of becoming a pilot in future and says that his best subjects have always been Mathematics, Science and English.
He encourages other pupils who want to excel to always to have focus and to like their studies, but to also ask their teachers where they have not understood.
He will continue his secondary education at Lycee de Kigali Secondary School.
