Rwandans in the Diaspora deserve mention.  Their desire to come home and help the vulnerable acquire decent shelter through ‘Bye Bye Nyakatsi’ project is something that the nation should be proud of. The project has enlisted a great deal of support.

I believe, while out of the country, many acquire skills and experience in various fields which could be used at home to foster development, should they decide to come back.

Rwandans abroad contribute greatly to the national treasury through remittances. Rwandans in the Diaspora should be encouraged to get involved in projects in their home districts.
